The Bay View Bar & Thai Dining is situated on the sweeping sands of Swansea Bay overlooking the scenic Mumbles light house. This historic landmark for over 100 years, has a long and rich history with the people of Swansea. Before the turn of the century The Mumbles Rail line linked Swansea City to The Mumbles and The Bay View at St Helens was an important post along the way.
With a burning ambition to bring authentic Thai to Swansea, the new owners, and hands on managers, Matt and Sam Nicol have created a haven for lovers of Thai cuisine.
Together with award winning Head Chef, the aim is simple - to bring quality home made, fresh authentic Thai cuisine to the people of Swansea.
The bar has undergone many changes, with an elegant and intimte dining room, a chillout lounge with comfy sofas and roaring fireplace and informal bar area that caters for about 100 people. An excellant place for drinkers to enjoy the fantastic views that this building boasts in name.
The pub also caters for the sports lover with two giant screens showing all the major sporting events on satelite and terrestrial TV
